The event will run under the rules of British cycling.

Since 2004, the event has raised more than £150,000 for WaterAid.

With friends, we have taken part in many cyclosportive events around the UK and Ireland mainly as training for the L'Etape du Tour in France (successfully completed in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, Quebrantahuesos in 2010, La Marmotte in 2011 & 2017 & Dreilaendergiro in 2014).
